Book Week at The King’s Star Academy was a magical journey into the world of stories and imagination. Throughout the week, students participated in various reading activities, from storytime sessions to book-themed crafts. The excitement about books and reading was contagious.
One of the highlights was the “Dress as Your Favorite Book Character” day. The school was filled with little Harry Potters, Cinderellas, and Peter Pans. Students proudly paraded their costumes, and each class had a chance to explain why they chose their character. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and creativity in their choices.
Our guest author, Mr. James, captivated the students with a reading of his latest book. The session was followed by a Q&A where students asked insightful questions about writing and storytelling. Mr. James was impressed by the students’ curiosity and imagination.
Throughout the week, classrooms were transformed into different book worlds. Students created dioramas of their favorite scenes, wrote their own stories, and participated in book-themed quizzes. The week concluded with a Book Fair, where students could browse and purchase new books to add to their collections.
Book Week was a wonderful celebration of reading and literature. It was heartwarming to see students so excited about books and storytelling. We hope this enthusiasm for reading continues throughout the year. Happy reading, everyone!
